A pritom koncerty boli cca každé 4 dni cez letnú šnúru. Koľko kompletných pódií majú? Vyzerá to tak, že aj zo 3, ak je pravda, že to tak dlho trvá
Here's to answer your question:
How many elements does the stage consist of, how much does the whole construct weigh and how many stage hands are involved in the construction? The stage consists of thousands of elements and weighs over 300 tons in total. But I never added it all up to know the exact details! Over 100 touring crew members and nearly 150 local volunteers are involved in setting up each show, which is about 250 people per show.
Is it true that the stage was built twice in the end and that it is already being set up in the next city parallel to the show? There are two steel support structures - we call them the "Black Steel" - to which the decorative screens, lights, sound, video and special effects equipment are then attached. Working with two "Black Steel" sets is common for stadium shows that move from city to city. Taking into account the build-up schedule, it is thus possible to play several shows per week, which makes the tour financially viable.
What does this construction schedule look like, how long does it take to set up and dismantle the stage? Three days to build the "Black Steel", one day to install the production (lights/sound/set/video/special effects/backline). After the show, the production technology is loaded in four hours and the "Black Steel" in one day. So a total of four days for assembly and a day and a half for dismantling.
Is set-up and dismantling trained in the run-up to a tour or how is it ensured that the crew can manage it within this time frame during the tour? This is not specifically practiced, but during the rehearsal phase the stage and the stage design are of course set up several times so that the systems can be tested. As the tour progresses, however, the crew keeps finding new ways and optimizing the structure. After a few shows it always goes much faster until the optimum is reached.
And how many trucks are needed to transport the stage? There are 20 trucks for each set of “Black Steel” – that's what we call the steel support structures – and 46 trucks that carry the production equipment.
