https://www.pinkbike.com/forum/listcomments/?threadid=247741 "Hey, Sorry for being so late after doing some questions to the mechanics at the Sea Otter Europe. First at all, SHIMANO guys denied any sound on the XTR cassette, they said it was a problem of the past, they are all good now (FAKE).
So I went to other stands to ask the mechanic about it and found that they do know the issue (Good thing we are not crazy), some of them fixed it by adding the thin washer which didt work for me, one of them told me that the customers at the
bike shop decide to swaped by the XT adding 30gr more problem solve.
But for those who want to keep the drivetrain full XTR like me the only thing we can do is what others said before, to lube the Rivets every few days, I have been doing it since my first cassette and it works until i wash the bike, but these days i tried WD40 + Dry condition chain lube from X-Sauce and I think is the best mix so far.
Hopefuly SHIMANO can get to a final solution.
By the way, one of the mechanic told me that this issue happenes on the DURACE cassette too. So keep it on mind. "
